Job Description Job Summary: The Consultant-u00a0Major Gifts and Foundation Relationsu00a0manages a portfolio of individuals and foundations to solicit major gift donations and grants Responsibilities: Solicits major or planned gifts. Designs and implements programs and/or strategies to identify prospective major gift donors. Develops relationships with prospects and donors through communication strategies and consistent stewardship. Tracks and manages the prospective donor pool to monitor program results. Prepares and provides support for cultivations/solicitation materials and activities, proposals and logistical support for major gift calls. Schedules appointments and conducts meetings with prospects and donors for assigned major gift calls. Reviews market analyses, coordinates and participates in the identification of prospects, reviews information in preparation for the cultivation strategies and solicitation calls. Qualifications Education: Bacheloru2019s degree required Work Experience: 5 years of major gift and/or fundraising experience required. Preferred Qualifications 3 years of experience in grant writing perferred. Bacheloru2019s degree required. Degreeu00a0with focus of studyu00a0in communications, journalism, marketing, or public relations preferred.
