The George Mason University College of Humanities and Social Sciences Development Office seeks a highly organized, energetic professional to serve as a Development Assistant. Administrative support and planning relating to fundraising and related events; and
Prospect research, office correspondence gift processing and acting as the college’s scholarship liaison. This position will work closely with the
Director of Development and the rest of the development team in raising funds to support the college.
The successful candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently on a wide variety of tasks as well as part of a team;
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills;
Ability and desire to master our database and reporting software; and
Experience in office management and administrative support.
Experience in higher education or fundraising.
