**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a Development Director in Portland, OR. This direct hire opportunity is with our client, a dynamic and growing nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will be experienced in functions relating to fundraising and will thrive working within a creative, entrepreneurial and team-based environment.
Because we are a federal government contractor, we have special restrictions placed on us for hiring foreign nationals into certain key positions within the company. This particular position requires U.S. citizenship.

Grow current donor partnerships within an early-stage organization.
Identify and cultivate community and individual prospects.
Provide financial status of ongoing fundraising efforts.
Manage fund development budget.
Oversee the development of CRM system, standards, gift processing, reporting, and administration.
Develop a fundraising committee with the board of directors and community.
Plan events, develop marketing collateral and manage calendar of print.
Collaborate with Membership Manager and Grant Writer.
Bachelorâ€™s degree in nonprofit management, marketing, education, automotive, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of fundraising, knowledge of the Portland Metro is helpful.
Strong strategic planning, development, and implementation experience.
Track record of income generating special events.
Well-developed skills in identifying, nurturing and developing Major Donors.
Greater Giving experience.
Ability to convey complex ideas to a variety of donor prospects.
Working knowledge of Smartsheets.
Hands on experience with integrated database systems.
Must possess a valid Driverâ€™s License with acceptable driving record and access to reliable transportation.
Previous grant writing experience is highly desirable.
