Philanthropy Officer - Foundation
Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Philanthropy Officer to join our growing Foundation team located in Richland, Washington!
Full time, 1.0. Day shifts.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution required.
Three (3) years major gift fundraising experience or three(3) years demonstrated experience handling a portfolio of clients in a relationship-basedsales environment is required.
Master’s Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
Familiarity with non-profit hospitals preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Experience building donor relationships and closing gifts in the $5,000 to million dollar range preferred.

As a Philanthropy Officer you will lead the Major Gifts program at Kadlec Foundation, including managing a full portfolio of individual donors with an outcome of securing major gifts of $5,000 and above; directs the Grateful Patient Program to maximize donor referrals; managers a Physician-Giving program, and works with the Chief Development Officer on executing a planning giving strategy for Kadlec Foundation. The Philanthropy Officer will also work with the Chief Development to direct and execute other programs and efforts that enhance major giving at Kadlec Foundation.
Develops, for approval by Chief Development Officer, an annual fundraising plantoward gaining the financial support of potential donors at a major gift level,whether via one-time gifts or multiple-year pledges.
Manages the research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of afull portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, including individuals,foundations and corporations.
Enhances, implements, and manages a grateful patient program as part of the Major Gift effort.
Creates, implements, and manages a physician giving program as part of the Major Gift effort.
Coordinates identification and solicitation of potential plannedgiving prospects with the Chief Development Officer.
Identifies andmanages a volunteer fundraising leadership committee or prospecting team.
