A self-starter with superior program management and relationship-building skills, the Director of Annual Giving is responsible for planning and executing a sophisticated, strategic annual fundraising program to ensure the School maximizes philanthropic support aligning with Episcopal's ambitious aspirations. The Director is a vital member of the school's frontline fundraising team.

The ideal candidate for the Director of Annual Giving at The Episcopal Academy will have:
Demonstrated success in leading a strategic and effective annual giving program.
Experience managing and prioritizing all tasks associated with fundraising work, including: writing successful and compelling appeals; utilizing print and digital strategies to support fundraising efforts; developing and implementing a prospecting plan to identify and qualify new donors; making in-person gift solicitations; and experience using donor tracking systems.
Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and growth mindset.
Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles
Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to react and adapt to changing situations appropriately.
