We seek a seasoned professional for the position of Foundation Director. Our ideal candidate has a solid track record managing all aspects of a foundation or nonprofit and securing corporate funds through vendors and grants. The ASRT Foundation is a nonprofit that works to make a difference in the field of medical imaging and radiation therapy by awarding research grants and scholarships to the more than 154,000 members of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..
Directs, manages and trains Foundation staff while serving as a working manager.
Planning, implementing, budgeting and administering programs and fundraising efforts, while ensuring compliance with all government regulations and foundation best practices.
Bachelor’s up to a Master’s degree in a related field; Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification highly desired.
Five years of demonstrated leadership experience in growing, marketing, planning and managing a foundation or nonprofit.
Strong people management experience with the ability to direct, train and lead staff as a working manager; ability to anticipate and respond calmly, yet rapidly, to change; maintain poise under pressure.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage time well and perform duties of the job in an independent manner.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Supreme relationship builder with the ability to collaborate and partner with staff, members and outside constituents to deliver objectives successfully.
Analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and quickly determine the best course of action in relation to the project, member and financial impact.
Strong budget development and management skills; solid negotiating skills, a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and questioning skills; encourage open communication.
Light travel that could extend into evenings and weekends might be required.
Requires relocation to work in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, office.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
