   Westtown School, a diverse PK–12 Quaker day and boarding school located in beautiful Chester County, PA., seeks a full time Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement.   Position Description:  The Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement reports directly to the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement. Responsibilities of this 12-month, full time position include working with the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement on the planning and implementation of the overall annual giving and engagement program.     The Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement will:   Essential Functions Develop a working knowledge of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. in general, funding priorities, and engagement topics so as to articulate a compelling case for support to all constituencies. Strategize with the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement throughout the year on appeals, stewardship, the Class Connector program, and other objectives. Assist the department with the coordination, strategy, and content of digital and print communications. Utilize Raiser’s Edge database to build reports and queries as needed. Ability to work nights and weekends to support Advancement Office events. Annual Giving Manage a prospect pool with annual goals for personal visits and giving outcomes. Plan and execute several mini-campaigns in support of the Westtown Fund throughout the year Assist in creating digital stewardship and solicitation communications (email marketing, social media etc.) as part of an annual strategy to engage, steward, and solicit large audiences. Manage the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) Alumni Engagement Serve as staff liaison for Class Connectors (class agents), providing individual and group support. Assist the reunion giving program – specifically responsible for working with several reunion classes one year in advance of their reunion, identifying and recruiting alumni volunteers. Work with the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Alumni Engagement to provide current students with a philanthropy and alumni engagement program. Assist the Director of Alumni Engagement in creating compelling messaging and engagement opportunities through the year.   Required Skills: Preferred experience working with donors and volunteers directly. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing personality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work in a highly organized and efficient manner. Prior experience in a Development Office with face-to-face solicitation experience desired. Experience working with marketing email software such as eNotify, Constant Contact, etc. Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel programs. Experience with CRM or relational databases – knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred. Strong analytical skills.
