JOB SUMMARY: Serves as (Level 3) and Unit Lead for the College of Business. Works with Dean of the College, Senior Director of Development, and Development & Alumni Relations partners on fundraising initiatives. Leads and manages development team (3-5 team members) for the College. Stays abreast of University priorities and inspires stakeholders' support of priorities. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES: 50% - Essential - Fundraising: Manages a dynamic pool of up to 150 major gift prospects who have the capacity to make gifts in the $25,000 to $1M range. Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards gifts from the College of Business alumni and friends through 15-17 visits each month. Raises a minimum of $1.5M annually. Coordinates cultivation and stewardship activities and events for assigned donors and College of Business. 35% - Essential - Staff Management and Academic Leader Engagement: Manages a team of development officers, and internal support team members, assisting them in achieving their fundraising and performance goals. Leads comprehensive annual planning and performance review, and manages implementation of the College's development strategies. Actively engages with Dean and academic leaders to cultivate and steward top donors and prospects. Serves as the Division's primary liaison to the College. 15% - Essential - Collaboration: Collaborates with Dean and academic leaders ensuring the Development & Alumni Relations division achieves annual fundraising goals for the unit. Facilitates collaboration with team members across the Division, including Principal gifts, Planned Giving, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Annual Giving, CU Foundation, Alumni Relations, and others who are essential to the College's fundraising efforts. Participates in the University Development Team's Unit Lead cohort.
