The Manager of Individual Giving provides potential donors with the opportunity to fulfill their philanthropic goals while helping Children’s Home Aid achieve its mission of partnering with children, youth, and families whose potential is at risk to create hope, opportunity, and bright futures. Responsibilities include: Manage a portfolio of individual and family foundation donors who have the capacity to make significant gifts. Develop strong relationships with donors throughout the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship phases. Coordinate relationships between donors and multiple points of contact within the agency, including volunteers, development staff, program staff, community leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure a streamlined, donor-centric approach that aligns with fundraising objectives. Lead the planning and implementation of major and lead annual giving donor cultivation activities, including site visits, cultivation events, and small group or one-on-one meetings with donors. Craft compelling personalized giving proposals that are aligned with the individual philanthropic goals of donors. Utilize Raiser’s Edge to maintain records of donor activities and provide reports as needed. Monitor the current trends in nonprofit development and make strategic recommendations that help the agency meet or exceed its annual fundraising goals. Qualifications: Exceptional communication skills are critical for this position; a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with high level donors and volunteers is key. Bachelor’s degree required. Three years fundraising experience, including face-to-face solicitations. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge required. Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with consistent follow-through; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
