Looking for a dynamic go getter who oversees all fundraising activities for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a nonprofit organization in Fairfax County that serves adults with developmental disabilities by providing residential services. Langley helps these individuals live valued productive lives.
The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter has a passion for advocating on behalf of people with disabilities.. The position showcases the successful candidate's innovative fundraising as he/she leads and expands a multi-faceted development program that includes special events,community and corporate support, and grants. This role partners with the board of directors and leads the effort to leverage community relationships to expand the local donor base and achieve our fund raising goals.

Has a natural passion for advocating on behalf of people with developmental disabilities and interacting with them
Applies fundraising best practices and skills while creating long-term relationships that promote sustainability.
Is a strong role model, team-builder and mentor
Leverages all leadership, board and community relationships as a key component of the development plan.
Has interest in implementing new Planned Giving Program

30% Research and apply for grant opportunities, help implement grant projects and keep record of grant expenses
25%. Oversee and manage signature fundraising event, The Annual Wine/Beer Tasting and Benefit Auction
25% Oversee donor relations and stewardship as it pertains to these constituency groups, including a prompt thank you system, annual giving request and communications to Langley constituencies through a quarterly newsletter.
10% Oversee and manage The Annual Langley Bowl
10% Cultivate and execute smaller events to promote Langley in the community
