Develop, implement, evaluate and refine a comprehensive fundraising plan for MCMH including annual, special events, major and lead gifts, capital campaigns, and planned givingrnrn2. Oversee comprehensive, results-oriented donor stewardship program that demonstrates to donors the difference they make at MCMH.rnrn3. Provide leadership and strategies for ongoing and emerging capital campaigns and major gift initiatives that benefit MCMH, and overarching EMHS system priorities.rnrn4. Achieve realistic and quantifiable goals based on mutually agreed upon fundraising targets that will be the primary performance standards used to measure fundraising success.rnrn5. Manage a portfolio of approximately 150-175 prospective donors, utilizing relationship and moves management strategies.rnrn6. Collaboratively set goals for the number of substantive donor visits; solicitations to be completed; and funds to be raised each year.rnrn7. Work closely with MCMH president to keep informed and engaged with donors, fundraising activities, and collaborate on funding priorities that would appeal to donors for philanthropic support.rnrn8. Meet regularly and provide updates to MCMH Foundation Council, and provide opportunities to keep them engaged and play an active role in the fundraising process.rnrn9. Promote a culture of philanthropy within assigned clinical areas; build philanthropic awareness through physicians, nursing and support staff, one-on-one medical staff meetings, and maintaining a presence in the clinical units.rnrn10. Oversee the development of case materials and proposal communications materials needed for major gift and capital campaign fundraising.rnrn11. Work closely with EMHS Foundation staff to coordinate grant funding opportunities for MCMH.rnrn12. Work closely with Community Relations to ensure a coordinated message across the member organization, and in the creation of donor-focused collateral materials, annual appeals, campaigns, and special event print needs.rnrn13. Develop strategies to establish a planned giving program including a planned giving societyrnrnQUALIFICATIONSrnrn1. Bachelor's degree required; preferred advanced degree in communications, organization management, health or business.rnrn2. A minimum of five years of dedicated fundraising experience in a variety of roles that represent progressively increased responsibility in leadership giving.rnrn3. Possess a demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of donors and donor prospects, moving them through the cycle of giving to solicitation onto stewardship and sustained and increased giving.?rnrn4. Documented outcomes resulting from personal, one-on-one solicitations for contributions.rnrn5. Ability to work independently within defined goals and standards.rnrn6. A strong work ethic coupled with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to one's workrnrn7. Strong verbal and written skills, well organized, self-directed with ability to meet deadlines.rnrn8. The ability to work effectively with physicians and other medical executives is critical.rnrn9. The ability to work effectively with volunteers.rnrn10. Achievement oriented, a good team player, and a successful team builder.rnrn11. Ability to work in a dynamic. Fast-paced environment and good at developing relationships both internally and externally with the various constituencies.rnrn12. Proficient with computerized information management in the fundraising setting, including Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge.rnrn13. Enjoy working with people and advancing the mission of healthcare fundraising.rnrn14. Able to work effectively with people and inspire others to perform at a high level of efficiency and productivity.rnrn15. Flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings and select holidays, as necessary.rnrn16. Knowledgeable in planned giving and ability to discuss with donors.rnrn17. Valid driver's license.rnrn18.
