Following an HLF-funded capital project, the Theatre launched The Georgian Theatre Experience in July 2016 as part of a commitment to heritage development. In common with many other arts organisations, we are reviewing our business model to ensure that we remain sustainable at a time of economic uncertainty, and with the support of the Arts Council we are establishing a new programme of development activity. S/he will have a strong vision for how the Theatre can achieve and surpass its potential and income targets, capitalising on the exciting performance and heritage programme at one of only two remaining Georgian theatres in active production in the UK today. This is an opportunity to make a major impact on what we do, and how we do it. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5pm on 14 March 2018. Interviews will be held on 26 and 27 March. Responsibilities To work closely with the Chief Executive and the Future Funding Group to agree a fundraising strategy that addresses the revenue needs of the Theatre. To work with the Chief Executive and with Trustees of The Georgian Theatre Royal to identify, nurture and develop relationships with new and existing supporters of the Theatre.
