Profile

The mission of the Festival is to ensure greater representation of all types and expressions of Faith in film, media, music, and art content. The Festival promotes diversity and inclusion of Faith themes and topics through entertainment, screenings, panels, and industry meetups.
Internship position is not compensated, but any required or necessary paperwork will be completed to provide college credits. Intern will also receive notices about upcoming citywide professional and public education workshops and Behind-the-Scenes Festival Access.
Hours: 12-15 hours per week. Virtual and In-Person Schedule is negotiable.
Intern will help promote the Festival to the surrounding region and globally while learning skills related to fundraising, grant research, proposal writing, cause marketing, philanthropy, and social promotion.
Responsibilities:
o Respond promptly to email, text, and social media communications
o Gather social media analytics & demographic research related to the Festival
o Learn how to develop and implement the Festival fundraising plan for the upcoming season
o Attend and actively participate in-person and virtual team meetings
o Learn about CRM & Data Analytic tools via webinars and vendor demos.
o Work with Festival team to set goals and implement a crowdfunding campaign
o Assist with development of social network sites to improve appeal to potential sponsors & donors
o Assist with the Festival in various capacities - planning, volunteer coordination, box office sales, etc.
o Assist with securing and attending meetings with potential sponsors and donor prospects
o Provide feedback and offer suggestions to improve fundraising work flow
o Assist with and perform any other duties as needed or assigned by the Festival team
