In addition, the agency’s work with the Sanctuary Model has made it a global leader in the field of trauma-informed care and an advocate for change in the way individuals with mental and behavioral health issues are identified and treated. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. seeks an energetic and driven development professional to support Development Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, especially in special events, and will be comfortable supporting day to day activities of the Development Department including special events, donor cultivation, volunteer outreach and marketing. The Development Coordinator will be part of the development team raising more than $2 million annually (with an aspiration to grow to $3 million over the next five years) for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, the Development Coordinator will serve as one of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s ambassadors to donors, community groups, business leaders and civic organizations throughout Westchester. S/he will work directly with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. board members. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong organizational skills who is detail oriented and motivated to help **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. succeed. Responsibilities: Accurately track all gifts, donors and prospects in Raiser’s Edge Database Assure timely dissemination of all donation acknowledgements Compile and send donor mailings for all Special Events and Appeals Serve as resource for special events, development, program and marketing needs Assist with all aspects of Special Events including but not limited to: maintaining accurate records, assisting with mailings and supporting day of event logistics Record minutes for event committee and department team meetings Generate professional reports from Raiser’s Edge Database as requested by President & CEO, Executive Team and Assistant Director of Development Support and assist volunteer projects and community-based events Maintain clear, well organized filing systems for all Development Projects Maintain accurate, up to date paperwork and files for all volunteers and volunteer prospects Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required A minimum of 1 year administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit environment Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and perform multiple functions with overlapping deadlines Experience coordinating with various departments within an organization Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively Experience with online fundraising/engagement a plus.
