The Development Coordinator provides general support for the Development Division with a main focus on Special Events including the Cancer
Galas, Walk/Run for Hope Series, and golf outings.
Some responsibilities include:
Securing, tracking and acknowledging event auction items.
Coordinating and training event volunteers
General event set up, break down and follow up.
Creating event related eblasts and communications and place event details in community calendar.
Generating mailing lists using Raiser’s Edge to query and export data.
Maintaining updated volunteer records in Raiser’s Edge
Requirements, Education and Skills
College grad with at least 3 years of development/special events experience.
Raiser’s Edge proficiency necessary.
Knowledge of web content development or HTML preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Detail oriented, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Live/silent auction experience desired but not necessary.
Some nights and weekends during peak event periods required with travel to Connecticut, Long Island and New Jersey.
Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.
