Development Officer Jobs
A person in a development fundraising job is responsible for increasing the visibility of an organization. A development fundraising job is concerned with identifying, cultivating, and soliciting corporations, company foundations, and private startups.
Such positions are responsible for maintaining long-term partnerships and providing strength to existing relationships that will help in funding for both immediate and long-term goals of an organization. Development fundraising job workers have to proactively seek opportunities, generate new ideas and strategies based on corporate guidelines and interests, and maintain good relations with corporate, foundation, and high-profile donors and prospects.
A development fundraising job requires a bachelor's degree. A CFRE certification and/or 3-5 years of experience related to foundation fundraising may be an advantage. For higher posts, a master's degree and experience in higher education and fundraising are preferred.
