Fundraising Director Jobs
A fundraising director has complete control over the actions of his/her staff. Responsibilities include planning, handling operations, and developing priorities for the organization. Creating and implement plans, strategize, and coordinate programmatic initiatives such as conducting events, and fundraising functions may also form part of duties. A fundraising director maintains partnerships with other organizations to foster friendliness and helpfulness within communities, and is directly responsible for maintaining and increasing the organizations revenue. Responsibilities also include recruiting new members and finalizing grants.
A fundraising director should have extensive fundraising experience in leading and cultivating communities and organizations. Such positions typically require a post-graduate degree in fundraising. Excellent leadership and communication skills, along with demonstrated effectiveness in managing staff and resources are also essential.
