University Fundraising Jobs
A university fundraising professional should be adept at securing gifts and funds from a variety of sources which includes individuals and corporate. The person should have knowledge of gift planning and procedures. A university fundraising professional has to devise appropriate strategies for his work, conduct research, and coordinate with department board members. Such jobs require meeting potential donors on a regular basis and establishing and maintaining a liaison and good relationship with them. Documenting and maintaining a database of all donor related information is required. A university fundraising professional has to ensure that the donor receives proper acknowledgement. Such persons have to coordinate and work with other volunteers, dean, and faculty of the university, and need to represent the university at events or community meetings.
A university fundraising professional should be a graduate in marketing with excellent communication skills. Such positions involve flexible working hours and travel.
