A person in a development fundraising job is responsible for increasing the visibility of an organization. A development fundraising job is concerned with identifying, cultivating, and soliciting corporations, company foundations, and private startups.
Such positions are responsible for maintaining long-term partnerships and providing strength to existing relationships that will help in funding for both immediate and long-term goals of an organization. A development fundraising job requires a bachelor\'s degree. A CFRE certification and/or 3-5 years of experience related to foundation fundraising may be an advantage. For higher posts, a master\'s degree and experience in higher education and fundraising are preferred.
